Our Experience
Harvard University: Kathleen worked with the Kennedy School of Government and the Council of Women World Leaders to develop marketing materials, attract donors, and open doors for the Council with major funders. Her other work at Harvard includes consulting for the China Public Policy Program, the Center for Business and Government at the Kennedy School, and Harvard Law School's Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
CNN: CNN hired NPN to develop the educational outreach plan for its 24-hour series, "Cold War," which was initiated by Ted Turner. Kathleen partnered CNN with nonprofits in the field of foreign policy. She developed the educational outreach plan with experts such as John Gaddis of Yale and Mark Kramer of Harvard's Davis Center for Russian Studies. With nonprofit partners, Kathleen led an effort that raised $1MM for this innovative outreach plan. Educational materials went out to 15,000 schools across the country and to US embassies in 123 countries around the world.
Kathleen and NPN have worked with diverse institutions, including successfully raising funds from: The MacArthur Foundation, The Ford Foundation, The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, the Irvine Foundation, The Coca Cola Company, The National Science Foundation, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, The Norris Foundation, The Joyce Foundation, The Whittier Foundaton, The UPS Foundation, The Haynes Foundation, and The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.
